CenterPoint explains Kent deal
#MAG-ENLARGE
Because the DJC reported this week, CenterPoint Properties Belief simply paid $14.2 million for an outdated and comparatively small industrial constructing at 913 Central Ave. S. in Kent. The land, with about 4.5 acres, appeared to carry the true worth. Now CenterPoint has defined the deal in a press launch. Seems, it is instantly north of a roughly 6-acre truck yard it bought again in 2016; thus the current sale represents an assemblage of almost 11 acres. There are not any imminent constructing plans. CenterPoint’s Evan Lippow stated in an announcement, “CenterPoint will proceed to prioritize assemblage alternatives within the nation’s premier infill industrial markets, the place there may be constant leasing demand for low-coverage actual property and excessive obstacles to entry for future growth.” Jim Honan of Neil Walter Co. brokered the current sale, and is representing the previous Thermo King constructing, which affords 19,744, and the ample yard house.
