An Abu Dhabi-based girl, who discovered herself a sufferer of digital fraud after procuring on-line, has expressed her because of the Emirate’s police after they helped her retrieve the misplaced quantity.
The lady says that 12 hours after procuring on-line, she noticed that her account was being drained of funds.
She instantly received in contact along with her financial institution, and realised that she was being scammed.
The lady then reached out to the Abu Dhabi Police, who registered the case. After a short time, the quantity was returned to her in instalments.
The lady’s story was revealed by authorities as a part of its ‘Be Cautious’ marketing campaign.
